The concept for this home,  sited below another proposed residential project by the firm, is a direct response to a site which stretches from the road at its high side to a creek below. Limited by setbacks and encroachments into a riparian zone, the "L" shaped plan of the house frames outdoor space with a focus on the natural oaks that  line the creek below. Communal and private space are carefully located to maximize privacy, daylight and views of the natural landscape.
