Located on a narrow lot near the infamous "Wedge" this single family project seeks to maximize it's focus and connection to the beach, ocean and distant horizon. The home's form is defined by walls along the shared property lines. These walls act as "blinders" to the neighboring structures, enabling privacy and reinforcing the spatial relationship to the beach. An inner courtyard provides daylight to the home's "center" while enhancing passive ventilation.
